Construction Management

:  In Construction Management (CM) we enter into a contract with the owner prior to the bidding period and act in an advisory role.  Bids are taken under our supervision, but separate contracts are let for each phase directly between the contractor for that phase and the owner.  When bids are received, as the CM we will evaluate them and recommend that one be accepted or that the phase should be modified and rebid. When the construction begins, as the CM we will coordinate all work on the site to coincide with the agreed upon schedules, budgets and quality standards.  We recommend corrective procedures and job changes that we feel are necessary, but our decisions are subject to the approval of the architect and the owner.
